The Dark Side of Modern Technology

"Business complications do strange things to our patriotism and to our ethics."
Eleanor Roosevelt, 1945

According to Dr. Edwin Black, American technology as epitomized by IBM colluded with its corporate muscle to inflict suffering on innocent civilians. Thomas Watson never compromised; he always made sure when there was a conflict, the company made money. IBM was brought to account for its conduct neither then nor now and will never be held accountable because of its international power. We agree with Dr. Black that a measure of justice has been served through the writing of his book, IBM and the Holocaust.
